1. Degree Recognition (DOATAP)
Before anything, your medical degree must be approved in Greece.
Your MBBS/MD must be recognized by DOATAP
If you are from a non-EU country, you may need to pass exams in:
Internal Medicine
Surgery
You must show proof of your internship and clinical training
2. Medical License
To work as a doctor in Greece, you need a license.
Apply for a Greek Medical License (Adeia Askisis)
Register with the Medical Association in Greece
Submit a Good Standing Certificate from your country
3. Greek Language & Rural Service
You must learn Greek (Level C1 or C2 is required)
You need a certificate from a Greek university
You must complete 1 year of rural service (Agrotiko) before specialization
